After our 1-year anniversary The Shell remains in the party mood (as always!) with our Lucky XIII. And party is the middle name of this month’s guests. Moreover DJ Severino embodies the true Shell vibe! This fun-loving Italian stallion from London is part of the infamous Horse Meet Disco -“the queer party for everyone”- and a vinyl connoisseur pur sang. His love for the black gold was recognized in the nineties by Derrick Carter and Luke Solomun, head honchos of the future-classic Classic Records.

Severino has remained one of their darlings ever since and released several classics with them –including this Shell banger as Hyena Stomp!- and was invited in 2012 to explore their catalogue for ‘Classic Through the Eyes of Severino’. This compilation is a fine example of his wide-ranging musical taste, which he showcases on a regular basis at clubbing institutions like Berghain and Fabric. But Severino not only brings quality music, he brings a proper party as well. So get ready for a bumpy ride.

Expect some serious mayhem, pop queers and vixens galore in Studio 2 as well, with Amsterdam’s disco queen Lupe and Hollywood & Vine. Over the years Lupe has proven to be a versatile talent both as a dj and promotor with a heart for the club scene with hehobi nights as UNK, Italo Elite, GOD and Acid Nouveau. He’s perfect match with the fashionably loud ladies from Hollywood & Vine, mostly notorious for their female artists only club night VIXENS.

Of course there is no Shell without coral rave Victor Coral and clamma’s from another mama Musclefarm aka Aron Friedman & Eric de Man. So on Friday the 28th of March it is time for your monthly surge of music, extravaganza and random acts of debauchery. In a nutshell: a night outside of the Box, but in the true Studio 80 spirit!
