Summer officially kicks off this Friday with the return of Audiofly’s Flying Circus at Sankeys Ibiza, while the pair increase the heat with a new ‘Flying Circus Ibiza’ compilation mixed with pals Blond:ish, in addition to the Flying Circus brand sating dancefloors across all five continents in 2014.

After their inaugural 2013 Ibiza residency Anthony Middelton and Luca Saporito of Audiofly are proud to announce the return of Flying Circus to this summer’s sensational Ibiza party calendar.

One of Sankeys few residencies to return in 2014, Flying Circus will be delivering that well known and long anticipated FC sound every Friday from July 11to September 26.

Residents and curators Audiofly, will be heading the line up on a weekly basis, bringing with them a revolving roster of essential residents and guest artists, balancing superb DJ talent with an enviable selection of cutting-edge live acts. Renowned for showcasing the best in underground dance music (and bringing together both old friends and the freshest new talent all under one-roof), this season won’t disappoint.

Flying Circus Ibiza promises 12 heated nights dedicated to showcasing that music that we know and love. From eminent Flying Circus fixtures like Martin Buttrich and M.A.N.D.Y. to the more illusory titans of the trade like Robag Whrume and Steve Bug, FC is always true to their sound and philosophy; a quality that has earned the touring event a prominent place in the global music circuit and an alluring cult-like following.

This imitable instinct for laying down cool infectious grooves that’s become an Audiofly trademark and intrinsic to the FC experience is encapsulated in Flying Circus Ibiza #01. With Anthony and Luca taking control of disc 1, the pair weave an intoxicating blend of house and deep techno, with cuts from DJ Koze, Just Be and their own hypnotic affair on Supernature ‘So Familiar’. Fellow FC mainstays Blond:ish deliver a sublime dancefloor trip as accompaniment.

2014 lands Flying Circus in all five continents! Staging over 50 events across the globe from Australia to Europe and the Americas, Ibiza is the only local to catch more than a glimpse of the notorious affair. If this year’s previous highlights like New Year’s Eve in Tulum, Detroit’s Movement Festival or WMC are any indication, this year’s Ibiza residency will be one for the books.
