As usual Loveland will end the year with Loveland New Year, but this time the New Year will also be the start of an anniversary year for Loveland. 2015 marks the 20th birthday for the Amsterdam based promoter. New Year and the 20 year anniversary are celebrated on respectively December 31st and January 1st and will both be held at Mediahaven in Amsterdam.

Loveland Live | 20 year anniversary
What started out as a small Queensday party in 1995 ended up being one of the longest running and biggest promoters in the Netherlands. Through good times and bad the love for proper quality music is what kept Loveland going.

To celebrate its 20th birthday Loveland is introducing an exciting new event: Loveland Live. At Loveland Live there are no CD-players, turntables or USB sticks, in other words no DJ’s. Only musicians who perform their own music, composed live on stage.

For this first edition some of Loveland’s favourite artists and some fresh talents are on the line-up. Many of them have been a regular part of the Loveland line-ups over the past 20 years. Loveland Live is the first party of the anniversary year for Loveland on January 1st from 17:00 hrs till 05:00 hrs. Some of the highlights in the line-up are Anthony Rother, Mathew Jonson, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Martin Buttrich, Gregor Tresher, Matador and Octave One.

Loveland New Year
One day prior to Loveland’s birthday event it is time for the annual Loveland New Year. The end of 2014 and the beginning of 2015 is celebrated at Mediahaven in Amsterdam on December 31st. From 21:00 hrs till 06:00 hrs artist such as Ben Sims, Speedy J, Max Cooper, Guy J, Secret Cinema, Egbert and De Sluwe Vos will take the stage.

Loveland New Year took place at several stunning locations over the years. For their upcoming edition Loveland is visiting the impressive Mediahaven. The venue is one of the latest additions to Amsterdam’s nightlife and used for the very first time last October during Amsterdam Dance Event.

Mediahaven is a three rooms connected location with first-class facilities. The rooms vary from a 12 metre high ceiling to a basement with a grungier feel to it. Located just ten minutes by bike from Amsterdam Central Station the venue is easy to reach.

Tickets
Tickets for both events are already on sale. Prices started at €29,50 for Loveland Live and €39,50 for Loveland New Year in the 1st release tickets, which are already sold out. In later releases prices will go up.
