Burn Residency came back to the White Island for its 4th consecutive year this summer and it´s only fitting that the greatest DJ competition in the world would partner with the biggest club in the world. Privilege Ibiza is proud to be the host of the 2015 edition of Burn Residency and participate in such a large scale project where hard work and sheer talent are rewarded.
Burn Residency is the biggest and most innovative talent support program which has gained worldwide recognition and respect by connecting some of the hottest names in electronic music such as Carl Cox, Pete Tong, John Digweed, Marco Bailey and Paco Osuna with an army of fans and music aficionados as well as some of the top clubs in Ibiza. With more than 2.500 mixes received from 90 countries in 2015 and narrowed down to 20 talented DJs chosen to attend the BootCamp in Ibiza, Burn Residency provides its contestants with a once in a lifetime opportunity to launch a career in electronic music.
During the intensive 10 day Bootcamp the 20 finalists have had the chance to meet some of the major industry players and be mentored by some of the world´s most prominent figures in electronic music while facing challenges set to test their talent, potential and skill.
Privilege Ibiza is one of the clubs on the island where the 3 finalists chosen at the end of the bootcamp have received their 2 months summer residencies and entered the draw to prove themselves and to show that they have what it takes to claim the ultimate victory : the grand prize of 100.000 EUR to be invested in a career leading to superstardom! The 2014 Superstar title winner, Javi Row, is living proof that talent and hard work pay off. With gigs at major global festivals in 2015 such as EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland Belgium, Awakenings ADE and signed by SafeHouse Management, Javi Row´s career has really took off after winning the Burn Residency challenge.
