Liilt.com, the global professional network for the electronic dance music (EDM) industry, has been launched. The free to use membership site combines a job and college course search engine with a full social media platform, creating an all-in-one resource for those seeking a career in electronic music. Set-up and run from Dublin (Ireland), LiiLT is partnered by Viacom18 / Vh1 Supersonic, Ministry of Sound, Beatport, SAE Institute and many more.

Although only in beta, LiiLT has already attracted hundreds of members. Companies and colleges from all over the world are providing job and educational opportunities across the creative and business aspects of the electronic music industry, catering for everybody from students to seasoned professionals.

Unlike other professional networks, LiiLT is free to use. Users can join and immediately post or apply for jobs and courses, search through directories and network with other users – all at no cost. Paid services exist in the form of a premium ‘professional’ membership level and premium positions in the listings pages but all core functions of LiiLT can be enjoyed free of charge by all members.

LIVE Viacom18 (Division of Viacom 18 Media Pvt. Ltd) is one of LiiLT’s primary partners via their brand Vh1 Supersonic – one of India’s biggest dance music festivals with events spread across the year. Commenting on the partnership with LiiLT, Jaideep Singh, Senior Vice President LIVE Viacom18 said “Our partnership with LiiLT enables us to provide an impetus to young music talent and provide them with the ideal opportunity to build their capabilities and charter their musical journey. LiiLT has the potential to fuel the growth of the electronic music industry by getting the right talent to the right places“.

LIVE Viacom18’s expectations are echoed by the US based production company Insomniac Events, who referred to LiiLT as “electronic music’s next place to network on the web” in a recent article.

LiiLT.com is fully desktop and mobile compatible. Site enhancements will continue as it moves through its beta phase.
