G-Star is excited to announce its new collaboration with rising star Eva Shaw.
Always on the lookout for strong leaders, Shaw immediately stood out to G-Star as a pioneer in the male-dominated Dance Music industry – renowned for her abilities entertaining large crowds and for producing her own tracks. Shaw has a natural affinity with fashion as former model, making her decision to collaborate with the denim brand a natural one.
The debut Eva Shaw X G-Star RAW collection consists of 7 pieces including jeans and shorts, tees, caps, sweats and a signature satin bomber jacket.
The collection is based on Shaw’s favorite G-Star designs that bring a feminine power to sportswear styles. The G-Star Elwood jean is the centerpiece of the collection, selected by the DJ for its ability to move on stage.
The collection will be officially launched at G-Star’s Miami store on 17th March 2016, during the Miami Music Conference, and available at select G-Star stores and from g-star.com as of 8th April.
Eva Shaw says: “G-Star is the perfect brand for me because it’s kind of tough and a little tomboyish, but also sexy and feminine which is how I like to dress myself. My collection embodies this idea – strong yet comfortable. I like the contradiction.”
