With Ibiza season just around the corner, we are excited to be bringing one of the white isle’s most loved nights to Ministry of Sound on May 7th – Defected Presents: Glitterbox. You can expect a rare DJ set from Basement Jaxx, along with Shapeshifters, Aeroplane and more delivering nothing but greatness across the night.
Born in 2014, Glitterbox is a celebration of dance music – the DJ, the sound, the space, the attitude, the ambience and the audience. Over 30 years of classic disco and house music, plus contemporary offerings that share the same philosophy, go into making up the Glitterbox soundtrack.
In keeping with all of Glitterbox’s events, each DJ has been carefully selected for our tried and tested ability to move an audience like Glitterbox’s, who rightly deserve a special effort.
While much of dance music tries to reinvent itself or retreads paths walked before, Glitterbox stands still, confident in its classic soundtrack, confident in its abilities to deliver all the ingredients that make up that special party you’ve looked forward to all week, confident in timeless clubbing.
