ULTRA BRASIL’s first outing in Rio de Janeiro was the runaway success story of 2016. Over 60,000 fans from around the world flooded Sambódromo last October for a two-day event that undoubtedly won over the South American country known for its love of both music and dance. On hand to capture the magic was ULTRA videographer Charly Friedrichs, AKA Final Kid, who delivered yet another breathtaking aftermovie.

Final Kid has carved a reputation as the foremost videographer in the business and, watching surely one of his finest offerings to date, it’s not hard to see why. A visual love letter to the spirit of Rio de Janeiro, the ULTRA Brasil 2016 Aftermovie celebrates the sun-soaked, rhythm-infused lifestyle that permeates the streets of the city.

From an impromptu dance routine set at the Escadaria Selaron to a game of volleyball on one of Rio’s beautiful beaches, to soaring takes from high above the city overlooking the iconic Christ The Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain, Final Kid immerses the viewer in the sensual majesty that is Brasil. Following a fitting portrayal of Rio de Janeiro, the aftermovie guides us through the gates of Sambódromo and into the waiting arms of the world’s biggest and brightest electronic artists for a triumphant ULTRA Brasil 2016.

Following a sold out first edition, ULTRA Brasil announced in January that the festival would become a three-day affair – Brasil’s ONLY three-day electronic music festival. As a testament to this high demand event, their initial Early Bird ticket launch sold out in less than two days. ULTRA Brasil has released Tier 1 tickets for the hotly anticipated event, which will take place on October 12, 13 & 14.

For fans looking to experience the now expanded ULTRA Brasil, Tier 1 General Admission tickets are on sale now for R$ 429.00 (half-priced tickets, available exclusively to Brazilian citizens*) and R$ 858.00 for other citizenships. These tickets will be in very limited supply and will only be available at UltraBrasil.com/tickets.
