As it heads into its 9th year in 2018, Ostend Beach is totally rebranding and will once again be the only boutique beach festival you need this summer. With all new stage designs, a fresh musical outlook and a revamped festival area, the first half of the headliners include Green Velvet, Claptone, Camelphat, Bizzey, Fjaak, Rødhåd, Marco Bailey, Woodie Smalls and many more. They will all play on the beautiful Klein Strand beach in Ostend on July 7th and 8th and discounted tickets are on sale now from €44, with full camping tickets also available.

Widely regarded as the best beach festival in the world, Ostend Beach is centrally located within walking distance of the train station. The whole beautiful area is lined with reeds, palm trees, white sand beaches and views out into the ocean with stunning sunsets each evening as boats drift by. Add in hotels, camping on Ostend Dunes, a beautiful harbour and bright lights of the city for after parties and you have a festival that perfectly mixes city convenience with natural beauty.

Ostend Beach’s two outdoor stages are complemented by two indoor stages and host 2000 people each, so the weather can’t spoil things. You can also look forward to boat parties at sea on both festival days and a party train to and from the festival, departing all major cities in Belgium.

The festival boasts four fantastic stages—all redesigned for 2018—hosted by key dance brands Magazine Club Lille, Relief Records, Trance Classics Hosted by M.I.K.E. PUSH, urban hostings by Vibestr & LUST, the Octopus stage by DiMaro & Friends as well as new partners ROOM FM from Barcelona and Marco Bailey’s label MATERIA.

Musically 2018 is the best yet for Ostend Beach as a wide variety of genres from techno to house, urban, hip hop and tropical beats are all catered for. Headliner and Chicago house pioneer Green Velvet will return for his sixth year in a row, while techno lovers will be excited by Dystopian label boss and Berghian resident Rødhåd and a live show from Fjaak.

On top of that, hit making deep house shaman Claptone also lines up with hot UK duo Camelphat, who were behind last year’s tune of the year with ‘Cola’, and Marco Bailey also plays on his own MATERIA stage.

This is just half of the line-up with many more surprises to come in the following weeks.
