After a brilliant 2019 edition with more than 20000 attendees through the weekend, legendary French techno festival FAMILY PIKNIK will double the dose next summer with two full days of underground action from noon to midnight on both Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th of July. The first wave of names to be announced include Erol Alkan and Fisher, Worakls Orchestra and Monolink both live, as well as Artbat and Mathame.

Taking place in Montpellier, the historical heart of techno in France, the 9th edition of the open-air festival is set to be wild once more. The usual Opening Concert will switch to a full day but will keep a focus on Live Acts while Sunday will offer a full and red hot schedule with the best house and techno DJs in the world.

Family Piknik is used to hosting heavy line-ups, and they don’t come much bigger than Erol Alkan, the Phantasy Sound label boss and master of a wide range of eclectic sounds from indie rave to techno to electro. Joining him will be the one and only Australian Fisher, the global house superstar behind one of the biggest dance floor anthems of the last 10 years with “Losing It.”

The first wave of names also includes a live show from the always impressive French talent Worakls Orchestra, who layers up sounds in magical ways. There will also be another live show from Monolink, the German DJ, singer-songwriter and electronic producer who specializes in ambient, techno, electronica and always serves up a fine soundtrack. Ukranian duo Artbat have had a standout 2019 with plenty of high Beatport hits and they bring their fresh tech on the Sunday, with Mathame are the Italian duo who have released on Tale of Us’s Afterlife and Tiefschwarz’s Souvenir.

After early bird on sold out, we are now on to early 2 ticke available at http://www.familypiknikfestival.com where a limited amount will be available before the next phase.
