Sports Entertainment Group (SEG) and The Media Nanny are proud to announce that they will join forces and continue their business activities as one company. As a result of the merger, a new SEG division will launch, ‘SEG Artists’ in addition to the existing branches Football, Cycling and Esports. The Media Nanny will continue to operate as an international PR management agency, but will add sports athletes to its current client base, which consists mainly of international music artists.
In these challenging times, many collaborations and mergers are put on hold, but Kees Vos (SEG) and José Woldring (The Media Nanny) are optimistic and confident that the merger will bring many great opportunities for both parties.
“There are many reasons why I am excited about SEG’s collaboration with The Media Nanny, but it is mostly because of the entrepreneurial talent and spirit of José and her team”, says Kees Vos, CEO and founder of SEG. “The entertainment company José has built over the past decade fits perfectly into SEG’s growth strategy. The PR and marketing expertise of The Media Nanny team will add value to SEG’s array of services. I can’t wait for us to jointly continue creating new opportunities for all of our clients, both athletes and artists.”
SEG Artists will focus on artist management as well as bookings, providing PR and marketing services and creating brand partnerships. The new division within SEG will be set up and run by José Woldring, CEO and founder of The Media Nanny.
“About a year ago, the idea of further growing the company started playing in my head and it has been on my mind ever since. From the initial conversations I had with Kees and the team at SEG, I knew: this is going to work. SEG is working with an experienced team of agents and staff, with extraordinary expertise on every level. Their unique way of managing talents appeals to me greatly. When it comes to talent management, we share the same vision. From the start I felt such a positive energy flowing between Kees and myself, which is important for me to make this collaboration succeed. I’m really looking forward to the next chapter in my career and the new challenges it will bring”, says José Woldring.
Coincidentally, both SEG and The Media Nanny celebrate their anniversaries in 2020 (SEG 20 years, The Media Nanny 10 years). All festivities have been temporarily suspended due to the Coronavirus.
