New Year’s Day 2022 will mark a new first in Manchester’s music history as Electric Chair, Repercussion, Homoelectric and The Warehouse Project unite together to present The Riot, rounding off an exciting return season at Depot Mayfield.

300,000 revelers will have passed through Depot Mayfield doors by the end of the year and The Riot will be a celebration of this incredible return to the dancefloor.

Rolling from day into night, The Riot welcomes The Blessed Madonna, Krystal Klear, Jayda G, Todd Terje, DJ Seinfeld, Gilles Peterson, Shanti Celeste, A Love From Outer Space & more. Back to backs come from Hunee & Palms Trax, Moxie & Leon Vynehall, plus Erol Alkan & Ivan Smagghe, as well as a special three hour set in Concourse from Louie Vega – see full line up below.

The iconic Grade ll Listed Star & Garter pub which proved to be a highlight at Repercussion, the festival that opened The Warehouse Project season, returns this time across two floors. Horse Meat Disco is joined by residents Krykso and Greg Lord in the loft, with DJ Paulette, Nancy Noise and Abigail Ward playing downstairs.

A full range of food & drink will be provided by Escape to Freight Island. Presenting a special selection from their visionary food market and unique offering of bars.

A further two parties are also announced. UK dance music royalty Fatboy Slim will see in the year with a massive New Year’s Eve party, along with the legend that is Annie Mac. With Hannah Wants, Yousef, Redlight, My Nu Leng and Emerald also joining.

On 18th December, Michael Bibi Presents Isolate, playing unsupported in the Depot, with further very special guests to be revealed.

The final 20 WHP21 events are still to come featuring The Chemical Brothers, Honey Dijon, Jamie xx, Overmono, Solomun, Bicep – Live, Avalon Emerson & more in Manchester. The beat goes on…
