Defected announces two shows at Brazil’s most impressive venues for April 2022, continuing the brand’s global expansion into new territories. Heading to the South American country for two nights of parties, Defected will bring its unique brand of house party to mammoth warehouse-style space ARCA in São Paulo and the award-winning open air, jungle situated Green Valley in Camboriú. With line-ups to be announced in due course, party-goers can expect massive headline DJs alongside Defected’s beloved residents for two nights of house hedonism across one of the world’s most vibrant dance scenes.
Defected’s growing fanbase in South America has demonstrated the appetite for the label and international clubbing brand, with these anticipated Brazilian shows the first in the region for over a decade. Heading to Brazil’s biggest city for the first night, Defected will take over São Paulo’s ARCA, a 6.4k capacity venue in the heart of the city. Opened in 2018, ARCA has already hosted giants of the electronic scene like Circoloco, Solomun and Elrow, and has become one of the country’s best loved venues. With world-class production capabilities, the cavernous, warehouse style space makes an epic location for the first party on the tour.
The following night Defected head to Green Valley in Camboriú, five time winner of DJ Mag’s Best Club Award. Located in the heart of the Brazilian jungle and a truly unique clubbing experience often described to be closer to that of a festival, Green Valley has been an unmatched success story in the Brazilian electronic scene. Back stronger than ever after the venue was almost completely destroyed by a freak cyclone in June 2021, this is set to be a momentous party that will see Defected continue to break new ground as a promoter, label and worldwide brand.
