Following the announcement of two shows at Brazil’s most impressive venues for April 2022, Defected reveal the line-ups for its anticipated return to the South American country. Continuing the brand’s global expansion into new territories, Defected will bring a host of house all-stars to world class venues ARCA and Green Valley for two nights of house hedonism across one of the world’s most vibrant dance landscapes.
Joining the Brazilian tour will be platinum-selling DJ and production duo Gorgon City, Chicago’s man-of-the-moment John Summit and Defected’s very own Sam Divine. As well as the international names Defected will champion stars of Brazil’s own scene, including well-established house talent Ashibah, who previously released on Defected’s DFTD imprint, and Aline Rocha, an artist whose career has sky-rocketed since winning Defected’s DJ For The Worldcompetition during the the label’s Virtual Festival series.
Defected’s growing fanbase in South America demonstrates the appetite for the label and international clubbing brand, with these anticipated Brazilian shows the first in the region for over a decade. Heading to Brazil’s biggest city for the first night, Defected will take over São Paolo’s warehouse-style space ARCA, a 6.4k capacity venue in the heart of the city with renowned production capabilities. The following night Defected head to Green Valley in Camboriú, five time winner of DJ Mag’s Best Club Award. Located in the heart of the Brazilian jungle and a truly unique clubbing experience often described to be closer to that of a festival, Green Valley has been an unmatched success story in the Brazilian electronic scene.
With these two parties set to be momentous all-night-long affairs, this Brazilian tour will see Defected continue to break new ground as a promoter, label and worldwide brand with some of house music’s brightest stars there to provide the soundtrack.
