Already emerging as a true gem of the global festival calendar in 2023, Flow Festival Helsinki is set to continue its sterling reputation as an undeniable hub of modern arts and culture – revealing more unmissable names set to take the stage in the heart of the Finnish capital this August with the reveal of the acclaimed Resident Advisor Front Yard lineup stacked with the must-see names in underground electronica all in one place.

Flow Festival is known for its exceptionally first-rate club music repertoire, rivaling in its abundance with the world’s best electronic music festivals. Realised at Flow Festival since 2017, Resident Advisor Front Yard is the place to be for every club music lover – a place where the party continues non-stop from the moment the gates open well into the night. This year at RA Front Yard, visitors can enjoy a diverse repertoire of superstar DJs and emerging talents. Eris Drew and Octo Octa, whose bounday-breaking vision has become a leading light in bringing equality and visibility to the dance music world, wil bring a special B2B performance to the heart of Helsinki in a club culture moment that can’t be replicated anywhere else. Additionally, house music legend Kerri Chandler, French DJ and producer Folamour, and Jyoty, who plays sold-out club gigs all over Europe, will all bring the party to Front Yard this August.

Front Yard will also feature one of the most exciting acts of its generation for a moment that can’t be missed in Sansibar, whilst  Parisian-born DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist Chloé Caillet, and one of Europe’s techno greats with a career of over thirty years – Speedy J – will touch down across the weekend. On stage will also be an underground Berlin favourite in Nene H, the ever-undeniable Chaos in the CBD and the Finnish legend Jori Hulkkonen celebrating the 30th anniversary of his first release with a special live homecoming set at Finland’s biggest festival of the year.

On the Front Yard stage, fans eager to discover the very best in cutting-edge new electronica will catch Dutch Amapiano pioneer WaxFiend, the new Finnish synthpop duo Modem, and Knife Girl – the indiepop phenomenon breaking genre boundaries. Joseysradios – a specialist in Amapiano and Afrohouse from East Helsinki will also lay a marker down this summer whilst DJ Voices and Jaye Ward, a latter regular DJ in London’s LGBTQ+ clubs for decades, will add yet another incredible moment to the RA Front Yard this summer as the vast world of electronic music comes to the fore – the perfect place to spotlight and discover the artists shifting and shaping the electronic world of tomorrow.

More acts representing Finland’s DJ scene also make their mark at RA Front Yard – such as Antti Salonen and Carlina Carpela with their B2B set, Argentina-born Xample Live, combining improvisation and numerous instruments in his live set, as well as All Good Soundsystem, a trusted DJ in the Helsinki club circuit. In addition, HiToshiCoco Ninja, and Ima Iduozee will all bring their own flair and presence to their sets at the Front Yard – each bringing their own story and world that makes them stand out above the rest as those with voices that need to be heard, and need to be heard now. It all comes together at the RA Front Yard this summer.
