This Halloween, for the first time ever, two of the most iconic festival brands, Boomtown and elrow, are colliding for a hellish carnival weekender at London’s superclub, Drumsheds.
Unveiling a mind and genre-bending line up today, the entirety of Drumsheds will be transformed into a fully immersive world and filled with the best names in electronic music. The likes of Eats Everything, Hannah Laing, Claptone, Alan Fitzpatrick, Arielle Free, Ben Hemsley, 4am Kru and many more will be pulling together the worlds of drum & bass, techno and house in what is set to be an unimaginable spectacle.
Taking place 26th and 27th October, this groundbreaking collaboration will see Boomtown’s immersive storytelling collide with elrow’s chaotic, carnival-inspired experience in a weekend-long creative takeover. Courageous rave participants will be transported into an entirely new dimension where the unique universes of Boomtown and elrow clash, setting the stage for a Halloween party like no other.
The initiated will already be familiar with Boomtown’s evolving narrative year on year, and now for the very first time, these characters and the worlds they inhabit are set to embark on a spectacular side quest.
Boomtown sets the scene… “The story begins with Boomtown’s elected figurehead, The Collector, whose portal-opening ritual goes horribly wrong, thrusting everyone into the chaotic hell dimension of elrow. As creatures from elrow’s twisted carnival pour through the portal, both worlds collide in a fusion of sounds, colours, and madness. This immersive storyline challenges goers to find the courage to enter this warped reality, where the brave and the foolish will dance together until they uncover the key to closing the portal and saving our world.”
Each of the three rooms inside Drumsheds will not only feature jaw-dropping creative staging from the award winning teams behind Boomtown and elrow, but will also feature a highly curated line up, distinctive to each environment.
Room X will become a “Carnival in Hell” – an underworld where funhouse madness and carnival chaos collide in a grotesque dimension of fire and brimstone. Combining Drum & Bass, Tech House & Techno, Eats Everything will be leading the carnival into a bass-heavy rave, alongside the infectious energy of Scottish DJ Arielle Free, and Alan Fitzpatrick b2b Mau P. Elsewhere Ben Hemsley, La La, and elrow resident Nido are set to round out the night with infernal genre-defying sets. Sunday will see 4am Kru unleash an intense and raucous live jungle show, before a special Claptone b2b Solardo performance to stoke the flames for the return of Eats Everything. Expect Born on Road, Daisybelle b2b Carlyfoxx, and a grand closing from Ben Hemsley and Hannah Laing to keep the hell fires burning. The party must go on, even in hell itself.
Room Y will see the queer and futuristic Boomtown district of “Metropolis – Underworld” come to life in London. In the chaos of the portal’s opening, Metropolis surges with neon energy, turning this high-tech dystopia into a rave for the ages. Saturday’s line up includes the deep, groove-heavy house of Sidney Charles, the vibrant house-disco fusion of Dan Shake, and the signature bass-driven beats of Seb Zito, alongside Emerald, Enzo is Burning, L.P. Rhythm, and Marc Maya. On Sunday the bionic wonderland brings more eclectic house and techno with Syreeta, a boundary pushing live set from Kink, and the non-conformist production styles of Olive F, alongside the likes of George Privatti, Spinks, and Mau P, all keeping Metropolis Underworld pulsing well into the night.
True adventures will be welcomed into Room Z, which for the Halloween weekend will be known as the “Forsaken Forest”. Populated by creatures that escaped from Boomtown’s Botanica Zoo, party people will be subjected to suitability testing by the animal scientists at the door. The haunted rainforest emanate a swampy, trippy energy, drawing in only the bravest of ravers. Saturday features Natty Lou with her jungle-infused beats, Samurai Breaks blending bass genres, and Lady Shaka. Zed Bias and DJ Q round off the night with their genre-blurring sounds, ensuring the forest never rests. Sunday’s sonics will be served up by breakstep innovator Deekline featuring Brixton grime MC Killa P, garage house vocalist Ell Murphy, South London selector RIZ LA TEEF, Bristol’s Big BPM producer Cheetah, as well as a back to back set between Decibella and Mantra.
The elrow x Boomtown Presents Halloween Weekender is set to transform Drumsheds—Broadwick Live’s new 15,000-capacity venue near Tottenham—into a high-value production playground of music, immersive theatre, and stunning visuals. Expect elaborate themed stages, over-the-top sets, cutting-edge lighting and captivating performers, creating a Halloween extravaganza that will leave attendees reeling. With Saturday tickets already sold out, remaining tickets are available for Sunday 27th October via Drumsheds London: https://drumshedslondon.com/event/elrow-boom-sun.
