All good things come to an end. It’s that special time of the year aka “closing time” at our favorite island, Ibiza.

Destino and Pacha closing are always some of the highlights of the season. Solomun+1 is a very successful party at Pacha. Solomun is the favorite of locals and tourists. He loves long DJ sets and throws a free party at the port every year.

Destino Ibiza 2024 closing, headlined by Solomun, was a fitting end to yet another legendary season. As one of Ibiza’s premier open air venues, Destino that offers stunning views, combining natural beauty with world-class music and this big closing event that captured the magic perfectly. Destino was very busy all season with Music On. This year Solomun closed Destino with a 3.5hr long set.

Angel Linde warms up the crowd. He is a Pacha resident since 1999 with more than 24 years experience. Angel is an artist renowned for his great versatility, which has allowed him to remain in the peak of the industry, he has adapted to each season’s public demand to suit every innovative trend and style.

Rafael Cerato takes over. The Aix en-Provence/Marseille based Rafael Cerato is known for blending emotional and percussive sounds with Rolling and powerful basslines, adding his pure house and old-school unfluences. Releasing selectively on respected labels such as Diynamic Music, Systematic Recordings and Stil Vor Talent, Rafael Cerato also runs his own label and events Ritual.

From the moment Solomun took the decks, it was clear why he remains one of the most celebrated names. His set was a masterclass in blending deep, melodic house with hypnotic techno, building an energy that connected the crowd throughout the night. The vibe was infectious, with the audience lost in every drop and groove, truly embodying the spirit of Ibiza. The venue itself was as captivating as ever, with its cliff-top setting overlooking the Mediterranean. The sunset gave way to a star-filled sky, creating an incredible backdrop to Solomun’s mesmerizing beats. Destino’s sound system was flawless, delivering crisp, immersive sound across the open air dancefloor, allowing the music to fully take over.

What set this night apart was the atmosphere, a perfect fusion of music lovers, stunning visuals, and that signature Balearic energy. The crowd was diverse, from long-time Solomun fans to Ibiza regulars, all coming together to celebrate the end of the season. The production was top-notch, with lighting and effects complementing the music without overshadowing it, creating a visually stunning experience.

Overall, Destino’s 2024 closing with Solomun was an unforgettable night, the kind that reminds you why Ibiza remains the heart of electronic music culture. It was a night filled with unity, euphoria and the best music you could ask for. A perfect conclusion to the summer.

Next year Destino will have a new name. Called Destino Five Ibiza. Music On will be back.
