Just a few weeks after the announcement of the first two headliners Acid Pauli and Habibi Funk, LIMBO FESTIVAL, one of the most eagerly awaited and appreciated transformational boutique festivals, both in Italy and abroad, announces new international artists and enriches the line-up for the next edition, which will be held from 10 to 13 July 2025 in Tuscany. Among them, the afro-house legend Osunlade, the mysticism of the New Yorker drėėmy, and the very Italian Tommy Soul, already protagonist of the previous edition with an incredible set of disco and funk.
Early bird tickets for the next edition are available until Tuesday 18 February: https://www.limbofestival.com/en/festival/contacts.
Osunlade is a musician who lives his art. Both his music and his being create unified melodies imbued with life, wisdom and balance. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, he discovered the piano at the age of seven and started his professional career at 17, in Hollywood, collaborating with Toni Basil on musical projects such as ‘Sesame Street’. He then produced his first album for Interscope Records, contributing to the success of Gerardo’s ‘Rico Suave’. After years in the music industry, he felt the need to get away from corporate pressures and found spiritual inspiration in Ifa, a Yoruba ancestral culture. In 1999, he founded Yoruba Records, a dance music label acclaimed worldwide for its commitment to spiritual upliftment. His debut album ‘Paradigm’ established him as a leading figure in ancestral house.
drėėmy‘s is a multifaceted experience that crosses genre boundaries and offers transcendent sound journeys on an international level. Fusing organic and electronic elements, the artist combines global rhythms, synthesised frequencies, deep songs and storytelling to create an unforgettable ceremonial symphony designed to connect and uplift. Enhanced by live loops, vocals and tribal percussion, the performances blend mysticism and dancefloor energy. Drawing inspiration from his indigenous origins and roots in his native New York City, he offers a soundscape for collective awakening, challenging you to dream.
Tommy Soul is a DJ, remixer and record collector with a boundless passion for vinyl; he grew up between two Technics1200s with early disco sounds: soul, funk, disco and house. He has been part of the organisation of important underground realities in Italy such as Rec Room/Serendipity Club, Dancity Festival and Fat Fat Festival, thanks to which he has had the opportunity to collaborate with numerous artists and pioneers of the sector. He is a curious and music-hungry artist who prefers quality sound without being a slave to a predetermined genre. His empathy and musical research are a perfect mix for the dancefloor.
The claim chosen this year by LIMBO FESTIVAL is ‘Rise’. The event, in fact, is presented as a journey celebrating inner rebirth by believing and loving deeply. The 2025 edition will also offer a wide range of mindfulness activities, including the evocative Forest Bathing. As always, there will be no shortage of meetings, talks, workshops and performances that will enrich the programme of this unforgettable four-day July event.
Moreover, this year the food world will be renewed thanks to the collaboration with the Underground Good Food Mood collective, led by Simone Cipriani and Matteo Ercoli. This reality is committed to enhancing farms that focus on the excellence of their products, promoting innovative, sustainable and regenerative practices, always with the utmost respect for the environment.
Organisers Luca Bacchetti and Alessandro Stefani Marcucci say: ‘We are working on one of the most beautiful editions of Limbo Festival, both musically and in terms of content. Every artist, performer and facilitator who performs at Limbo brings with them a story and depth that deserve to be celebrated. We want these four days to become an opportunity to plant a seed in the hearts of participants, touching the essence of our community.’
Also in 2025 LIMBO FESTIVAL will take place on the beautiful ‘Il Ciocco’ estate in Barga (Lucca), in the green Garfagnana region of Tuscany. A natural area of over 600 hectares, where there is an albergo diffuso and various types of accommodation, two restaurants, a sports village and 42 kilometres of trails and cycle paths through woods, plateaus, conifers, beeches, chestnut trees, vineyards, pastures and clearings. The perfect location for an idea of well-being typical of these places, where the landscape is authentic and timeless traditions survive.
