Today, Boomtown Festival has announced the chapter messaging in its evolution: the unveiling of the 2025 Chapter Narrative, Power of Now, alongside the addition of four incredible artists to this year’s line-up: Koffee, Kojey Radical, Craig Charles, and Babylon Circus. These new names add even more depth to Boomtown’s immersive experience and already thrilling bill featuring the likes of Maribou State, Sean Paul, Nia Archives, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, Azealia Banks and more.
Following last year’s Chapter Three narrative, Revolution of Imagination, Boomtown continues to build on the idea of active actualisation. Where imagination sparked a revolution of possibility in 2024, Power of Now invites festival-goers to seize the present moment and make impactful choices, setting the tone for what promises to be an unforgettable adventure.
“The future starts now, in the choices you make today” encourages a commitment to live with purpose and presence. This year’s theme is a natural progression from last year’s exploration of creative potential—Power of Now is about taking those ideas and turning them into tangible actions. Whether through your connections, your acts of love, or your courage, every small step matters.
Taking place at Winchester’s Matterley Bowl between 6th – 10th August 2025, the award-winning Boomtown is a trailblazing fixture in the global festival calendar, and the new additions only further the festival’s ongoing commitment to curating an eclectic, one-of-a-kind experience.
With over 600 artists still to be announced, Boomtown’s musical programme is shaping up to be a vibrant tapestry of sound, featuring everything from hip-hop and post-punk to reggae, world music, folk, and beyond. With genres spanning drum and bass, techno, house, rock, jungle, disco, and psytrance, the lineup promises a sonic journey like no other.
With a strong emphasis on environmental activism, the festival is a dynamic platform for action through a rich fusion of music, culture, and advocacy. Continuing Boomtown’s tradition of extraordinary entertainment, featuring immersive narratives, modern circus performances, art, and dance, rounded-off with jaw-dropping production, are three guiding pillars: Creativity, Connection, and Celebration, with the core values of Respect yourself, Respect each other, and Respect the planet inspiring every interaction.
