Fresh off her second MOBO Awards nomination for “Best Electronic/Dance Act” this year, today [Thursday 6th February] Hackney’s underground superstar Eliza Rose leans back into her OG selector sensibilities as she announces a 12-date vinyl only tour this Spring she’s aptly named “Vinyl Fetish Tour” – speaking to her speaking to her love for her extensive collection. Kicking off in Oslo on the 7th March and wrapping up in Manchester on the 12th April, across a further 10 key cities including Barcelona, Brussels, Dublin and more, fans can expect to be taken on a sonic journey lush with some of Eliza’s personal gems from her cherished lifelong record collection (beginning at the Flashback days), to the big energy euphoric moments we all know and love her for.
Speaking on the tour, Eliza shares:
“The vinyl tour is really about me falling back in love with my collection, and sharing with fellow music lovers the records I have found over the 10 plus years. Touring heavily for a long time meant that I had neglected, or didn’t always have access to spaces that were good for playing vinyl and I’ve really missed it. Buying and sharing records was the reason I got into djing in the first place, and in a culture that seems to crave big drops and hype moments I began to step away from playing parts of my collection that I cherish most. I wanted to rectify that – of course I will still have BIG gun-finger energy – but for this tour I’m really excited to share bits across the spectrum of dance music, not just big drops, but also groove and soul. This tour is all about dancing and discovery.”
