Fresh off his iconic performance during the reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris, French DJ and producer Michael Canitrot brought his signature Monumental energy to Parc des Princes last Saturday, celebrating PSG’s Ligue 1 championship with a powerful live set that blended cinematic electronic music and orchestral touches—creating a rare moment where sport and culture converged through the work of a French electronic artist at a landmark venue.
The highlight of the evening was the premiere of “Le Cœur de Paris”, an original track created for the occasion, featuring Grammy-winning opera singer Marina Viotti, whose voice soared across the stadium in a dramatic blend of classical and electronic elements.
“It’s an honour to be part of such an important moment for PSG. I wanted to offer a unique show, just like Paris: intense, eclectic and unifying. Meeting Marina Viotti was obvious, and Le Cœur de Paris is our way of celebrating this city, this club and its supporters.

The performance echoes the ethos of Canitrot’s Monumental Tour, an innovative series of open-air concerts that transform historic landmarks into immersive audiovisual experiences. Past editions have reimagined locations such as Mont-Saint-Michel, the Eiffel Tower, and Zaragoza’s Basilica del Pilar—blending electronic music, architectural mapping, and digital art into one spectacular live show. Up next is his most ambitious date yet: Monumental at Château de Chambord on September 19, 2025.
A jewel of French Renaissance architecture and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Château de Chambord will become the next Monumental stage. The event will feature Canitrot performing live beneath the castle’s iconic 150-meter façade, surrounded by projection-mapped visuals, immersive lighting, and bespoke music created for the moment.
The event also has a preservation mission: part of the proceeds will go toward the restoration of the Château’s historic François I wing.
