On September 20th, OBLIQO will celebrate its first anniversary with the FESTIVAL OBLIQO, an edition held outside the club in a larger, historic venue: the Usina Cultural, a mansion that stands out and brings life to the banks of the Sorocaba River.
The festival will have a capacity of 3,000 people and will feature two stages. The Main Stage will host the night’s headliners: Mochakk, Leall, Carlos do Complexo, Bassan, Akila, and Cesar Nardini. The Rádio Galeria Stage will be dedicated to showcasing local artists who have stood out during OBLIQO’s first year.
Adding to the experience, the event will also host a pop-up by SORO Lab — the clothing brand launched in May 2025 by Mochakk, in collaboration with creative director Halfcab and designer TNK. With its modular proposal and focus on multiplicity of uses, SORO positions clothing as a language in constant recombination. The pop-up will be located in the festival’s chill zone, featuring a stand with a presentation of the drop and items available for purchase. It will showcase pieces that dismantle and reconfigure, expanding possibilities of style and identity in a way that echoes the festival’s spirit of cultural exchange.
One of the festival’s main highlights is bringing together, in a single edition, all the labels that make up the OBLIQO project. The main label, which shares the club’s name, focuses on House and Techno, always telling a story within club culture.
The project also presents NAPONTA, a cultural exchange connecting subcultures and subgenres, with a curation focused on Brazilian Funk, Drum n Bass, Dubstep, Breakbeat, and related styles. Compacto celebrates vinyl lovers, inspired by 7-inch records and exploring genres such as Hip-hop, R&B, Boogie, and Samba.
In addition, the festival will also feature the Rádio Galeria stage, a label launched in 2024 with the purpose of providing space and visibility to emerging talent in the local scene. The FESTIVAL OBLIQO will be a daytime festival, starting at 2:00 PM and running until 10:00 PM. After the event, the celebration continues with the official After-Hours at the OBLIQO club, featuring a secret line-up.
Tickets are selling fast and are already close to sold out. They are available in different options: general admission or backstage, as well as festival + after-pass packages.
More than just a club, OBLIQO has established itself in its first year as a cultural project that values musical diversity and promotes innovative experiences. Located in Sorocaba, the club has become a reference in the São Paulo countryside for bringing together different musical styles, fostering the local scene, and attracting major names in electronic music and urban genres. In a short period, it has gained national recognition as a creative hub that connects audiences, artists, and new cultural expressions within nightlife.
