Sounds Australia gears up for Amsterdam Dance Event 2025, presenting two days of radio broadcasts, mixers and industry networking designed to connect Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific with the global electronic music community. Taking place at Box Sociaal, Jordaan on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 October, Australia House will once again serve as a unique hub for international exchange and collaboration.
Welcoming artists, managers, agents, promoters, venue owners, media, and content creators – from over 40 countries, the networking events are supported by the Australian Embassy, The Netherlands.
On Wednesday, October 22, Bangkok Community Radio, MSG4000 and fbi radio will team up for a special edition broadcast featuring DJ PGZ, Juno Mamba, and Takky. Recorded in Amsterdam and syndicated across all three stations, the broadcast presents music spanning distinct scenes and communities across the Asia-Pacific. Running alongside the broadcast, Sounds Australia will host a mixer from 5pm-8pm in partnership with Exchange Asia and Ticket Fairy, dedicated to strengthening collaboration across the APAC region, and supported by the ASEAN-Australia Centre.
On Thursday 23 October, Sounds Australia House will host an extended evening mixer from 5pm–8pm, anchored by a Darker Than Wax FM session with Marco Weibel, recorded exclusively for The Lot Radio. The gathering will unite artists, tastemakers and international industry leaders.
“Australian dance music isn’t just having a moment, it’s driving a global movement,” says Esti Zilber, Executive Producer and Head of Sounds Australia. “ADE is the gateway for international industry to connect with the artists and innovators shaping Australia’s electronic sound. At ADE 2025, Sounds Australia House proudly brings them all together—under one roof, with world-class talent and world-class coffee.
In 2025, Sounds Australia will boldly platform Australian talent into Southeast Asia through dynamic partnerships with celebrated outlets championing some of the most exciting artists moving through the region. This initiative marks a significant step in Sounds Australia’s global engagement strategy, reinforcing our commitment to amplifying Australian artistry on the international stage through strategic, community-driven collaborations.”
Across both days, guests can expect premium coffee by day and cocktails by night, with Lekker Bikes — Dutch-style bicycles born in Australia and raised in Amsterdam — joining as a partner to keep artists and delegates moving across the city. Meanwhile, Katie Knight will record an ADE special of interviews for her Can You Put Me On Guestlist podcast.
