Fast-becoming a go-to destination in the European festival summer, Bilbao BBK Live has announced its first details for 2026 – bringing together an eclectic lineup to one of the world’s most unique festival locations atop Mount Kobetamendi. Celebrating its 20th Anniversary, Bilbao BBK Live pulls together the spirit of Bilbao and the wider Basque region for a weekend brimming with surprise, discovery and unforgettable moments.

Announced today in the first wave of names is a lineup that spans across genres, eras and style to deliver a festival experience that never stands still. A true defining UK musical icon, Robbie Williams heads to Bilbao BBK Live 2026 for a headline performance fitting for one of the world’s biggest-selling artists of all time. A stadium-filling phenomenon, his stacked catalogue has seen him seize the mantel as a true unquestionable entertainer – with the likes of ‘Angels’, ‘Rock DJ’, ‘Feel’, ‘Let Me Entertain You’, ‘No Regrets’ and ‘Candy’ but a sample of a jukebox of the highest order. With recent biopic ‘Better Man’ ushering in a new celebration of his work, expect the live spectacle that is Robbie Williams to make history in Bilbao next summer.

Recognised universally as a music genius, David Byrne brings his jaw-dropping live show to Bilbao BBK Live next July for a celebration of an artist constantly looking forwards. First rising to acclaim as the leader of the seminal Talking Heads, David Byrne has sat at the forefront of innovation – something he has continued with the release of latest album ‘Who Is The Sky?’. Receiving rapturous acclaim for his most recent live shows, expect his headline moment at Bilbao BBK Live to be a celebration of a true icon that’ll stay in people’s memories for years to come.

Kicking down the door with one of the year’s most celebrated albums, Lily Allen brings ‘West End Girl’ to Bilbao next summer. Recognised as one of the voices of her generation, her return to music this year was met with huge acclaim – an album of incredibly confessional pop served up with the classic charm and hooks that have made Lily a true favourite. Performing that album in full with a show that dives into just why it’s become such a seminal album despite only being a few months old, expect a direct and unmissable moment at Bilbao BBK Live.

A true tidal force of a band, IDLES come to Bilbao BBK Live with their visceral tales and soaring moshpit-starting chaos that makes them one of the past decades most influential bands. Led by the unstoppable Joe Talbot, they’ve become a live band that every music fan has to see at least once in their life – whilst pushing the boundaries of what modern guitar music can be. Latest album ‘TANGK’ is ready to leave a mark in Bilbao next July. Also ready to leave a mark in a manner only they can, Interpol head to Bilbao BBK Live in 2026 with their reputation as one of the 21st century’s greatest bands ready to be displayed in the biggest way possible. Since emerging from New York City in the early 2000s, their stunning take on the gritty and dark sides of indie-rock has led to them being recognised as a vital force continuing to innovate to this day. The likes of ‘Slow Hands’, ‘Evil’, ‘Obstacle 1’, ‘PDA’, ‘All The Rage Back Home’ and more will serenade Bilbao like few others can – as Interpol descend upon Bilbao BBK Live 2026.

A true national treasure, CMAT continues her unmistakable rise to the very top when she and the Very Sexy CMAT Band head to Bilbao next summer. Renowned for an incredible live show, the release of her latest album ‘Euro-Country’ saw CMAT reach new levels – with a history-making Pyramid Stage appearance at Glastonbury starting a summer packed with incredible moments. With the world caught up with her brilliance, Bilbao BBK Live is in for a trest when CMAT comes to town next July. One of the most in-demand names in the global electronic music scene, Charlotte De Witte brings her palpable techno to Bilbao as a showcase for why she is revered across the planet as THE name to see. Regularly charting as one of the most popular DJs on the planet, Charlotte De Witte will provide a towering highlight of the weekend at Bilbao BBK Live 2026.

2026’s lineup truly reflects the festival’s multi-faceted approach to every aspect of international music culture with beloved guitar bands Alabama Shakes and Belle and Sebastian alongside boundary-pushing electronic names soundtracking the underground and beyond such as horsegiirL and Richie Hawtin – presenting his DEF EFX XOX live show. From the star-studded collaborative project TOMORA (featuring Tom Rowlands of The Chemical Brothers and global superstar Aurora), Paris Paloma, Fatoumata Diawara and Carpetman to Thee Sacred Souls, Zaz, Mind Enterprises, Folk Bitch Trio and Nu Genea (Live) – Bilbao BBK Live’s first wave of names sets the mark for a meeting of culture that revels in the diversity of it all by bringing people together.

Not just gathering together some of the world’s most vital artistic voices – bringing light to their own respective fields – Bilbao BBK Live is an incredible spotlight for the Spanish and Basque music scenes lighting up 2025 and beyond. Pop trailblazer Dani Fernández comes to Bilbao for a sure-fire powerhouse performance of singalong favourites, the all-encompassing pop magic of Belén Aguilera brings her statement-of-intent and the free-wheeling folk and blues shake of live thrillers La M.O.D.A are primed to become a festival highlight when they take to the stage next summer. The larger-than-life hooks of Ralphie Choo heads to Bilbao next summer as do the bedroom-grooves of Depresión Sonora and the acclaimed alternative tales of Xoel López (who first broke into wider consciousness under the moniker Deluxe). With even more to be unveiled and a rich community spanning different genres and worlds, Bilbao BBK Live is the invitation to the globe to witness why so many are talking about the artistic community within Spain and the Basque region – all ready and waiting to be discovered.

It comes together for a festival that’s primed to become a true destination for music fans from across Europe and beyond. Doing what it’s done since the very beginning, Bilbao BBK Live fizzes with the energy, passion and atmosphere that comes from the city of Bilbao – the festival’s picturesque location nestled up Mount Kobetamendi overlooking a skyline like no others. Only 10 minutes walking from the city itself, each note and vibration hits like a calling siren to the world. Celebrating the trailblazers and thrill-seekers that come to define the cultural conversation, Bilbao BBK Live is doing what few other festivals can.
