Framework, one of the world’s leading purveyors of underground music experiences, has just concluded re:frame Season One, officially capping off a massively successful inaugural run. Beginning with its sold-out Grand Opening Party on January 16, Framework transformed Reframe Studios Indoors – a film soundstage in Atwater Village – into an immersive nightclub experience on a weekly basis. In the process, re:frame hosted 30,000+ attendees and sold out eight Season One dates, solidifying the series as Los Angeles’ most sought-after new nightlife destination and further cementing Framework’s legacy as one of the city’s most culture-defining forces.
The inaugural re:frame season kicked off with a bang, as underground legend MK headlined the sold-out Grand Opening Party with support performances from Jaden Thompson and Sweet Like Chocolate. From the outset, audiences connected with re:frame’s distinct vision for the Los Angeles dance community. Even with a packed house, attendees left the Grand Opening Party elated by the ample room to move within the spacious venue, as well as the high-tech, custom-built production that converted the space into a transportive music environment – one designed to foster social connection rather than a purely stage-focused experience.
On Saturday, January 24, re:frame hosted a mystical headlining performance from Italian-born techno duo Mind Against with support from Enamour. The following weekend, French producer Dombresky dominated the entire re:frame programming with two-sold out sets: on Friday, January 30, he took the stage as his disco-fueled alter ego Disco Dom, before returning the following night under his primary alias.
Building on this momentum, on Monday, February 2, global superstar John Summit surprise announced a pop-up show at re:frame scheduled for the following night on Tuesday, February 3. Despite the short notice and weeknight timing, ‘Framework presents John Summit’ sold-out in five minutes, and went on to deliver an open-to-close John Summit set that featured a bevy of special guests. Artists who appeared on stage with Summit included Colombian sensation Feid, bass music icon Subtronics, and GRAMMY-nominated house duo Sidepiece, all complementing the surprise announcement of Summit’s upcoming album, CTRL ESCAPE, which cemented re:frame at the center of one of 2026’s most talked-about music moments. Summit also used the evening to shoot the music video for his “Shadows” single.
For a quick turnaround, re:frame continued its hot streak with two more highly anticipated, sold-out shows: The CamelPhat Experience (Friday, February 6) and The Martinez Brothers Present Orbita (Saturday, February 7). Taking full advantage of the soundstage’s audio-visual flexibility, both duos unveiled immersive, custom-built productions, with The Martinez Brothers showcasing a massive UFO sculpture and light show suspended above the dancefloor.
The following weekend on Friday, February 13, Berlin-based techno producer/vocalist Jan Blomqvist graced the re:frame stage for a headlining performance, with support from Maxi Meraki B2B Nico De Andrea and Yulia Niko.
This past weekend, Framework closed out re:frame Season One with two illustrious, sold-out events. Though Jan Blomqvist was initially slated as the final show for re:frame’s inaugural season, due to popular demand, Framework added two additional dates to the Season One calendar. On Friday, February 20, Dutch DJ/producer Franky Rizardo provided a sold-out, extended headlining set with support from Sabrosura Boyz. Then, on Saturday, February 21, underground techno purveyor Guy Gerber headlined the re:frame Season One Closing Party, with support from Alex Wann and Riche. The Season Closing Party also featured a brand new stage design in collaboration with the people behind the Long Feng Art Car – marking the second official collaboration between Framework and Long Feng, following Framework In The Desert 2025. Featuring a central arch installation enveloped by lighting fixtures and wing artwork – with two large dragon constructs flanking the stage – Long Feng Art Car further proved the production heights that can be achieved in re:frame’s highly-malleable and versatile space.
re:frame Season One added to Framework’s ever-growing portfolio of large-scale music experiences staged in unique locations across Los Angeles – and further cemented the company as one of the world’s most innovative dance music promoters. The inaugural series also set the tone for what is shaping up to be one of the company’s most ambitious years to date.
Last week, Framework officially announced the return of their popular festival afterparty series, Framework In The Desert, set to return from Friday, April 10 – Sunday, April 12, 2026. Taking place only a few miles away from the iconic Indio festival grounds, Framework In The Desert annually transforms the Atlantic Aviation hangar in Thermal, CA into an underground music mecca. This year’s three-day event promises to continue the momentum of last year’s edition, which broke attendance records with 14,000+ attendees across three nights. Framework In The Desert 2025 featured headlining performances from electronic music powerhouses Chris Lake, deadmau5, Mau P, and Alesso (BODY HI), while also starring the Long Feng Art Car as the mesmerizing stage for the structure’s first public appearance outside of Burning Man.
Framework has also announced the lineup for their other major festival season event: 7 Days Of Framework At Sound. Between April 10 – April 18, 2026, Framework will host world-class headliners in the more intimate environment of Hollywood’s legendary Sound Nightclub – which Framework owns and operates. This year’s 7 Days Of Framework At Sound will feature performances from Adam Beyer (April 10), Groove Armada (DJ Set) (April 11), Röyksopp and Le Yora (April 14), Prospa & Riordan (April 15), Dimension (April 16), &friends (April 17), and Joezi (April 18).
Framework recently turned heads by announcing a collaboration with fellow underground promoter Stranger Than;, who they are teaming up with to host a headlining performance from Keinemusik-member &ME. Taking place on Saturday, May 9 at Cabrillo Beach, ‘Framework x Stranger Than; present &ME’ marks Framework’s first-ever beach party as well as their first official headlining collaboration with &ME. With these milestones – and the unexpected partnership with Stranger Than; – Framework is positioning 2026 as a year of bold firsts, expanding its reputation beyond Southern California and onto the global stage.
Yesterday, Framework announced Gorgon City as headliners for their Outdoor Season Opener. Taking place Saturday, May 30 at Reframe Studios Outdoors, Enter The Realm Los Angeles will kick off Framework’s Summer 2026 programming, and reintroduce audiences to Reframe Studios’ outdoor portion after Framework launched the space for their Solomun Outdoor Season Closing Party last November. Enter The Realm Los Angeles will feature support performances from TEED B2B M-HIGH and LINSKA B2B Jackie Hollander.
