Continuing to unveil incredible programming and a broad mix of cultural innovators, iconic figures, vital new voices and more – Bilbao BBK Live has announced its full lineup for an incredible 20th anniversary edition including Robbie Williams, Calvin Harris, David Byrne, Lily Allen, IDLES, CMAT and Interpol, with the addition of FKA twigs to a stacked lineup heading to Mount Kobetamendi this July.

One of the 21st century’s most pivotal voices, FKA twigs comes to Bilbao following the release of her acclaimed latest album ‘EUSEXUA’ – a record that incorporated club and underground culture into towering hits that has seen FKA twigs serve up some of the most celebratory and acclaimed shows of her career so far. Continuing to push boundaries and create art that spans not only across music but theatre, performance and more – she sits truly in a field of her own, making Bilbao BBK Live an essential chance to see this show in full flight.

Also revealed today is the programming of two of Bilbao BBK Live’s most celebrated and unique stages. Committed to the tones and moves of underground electronic culture, the Basoa and Lasai stages sit as incredible experiences spread across Mount Kobetamendi. Basoa sees cult dancefloor hedonism meet with the sanctuary of nature in a stunning forest landscape that has fans pulled forward in a matter of no time. The likes of 2manyDJs, Erol Alkan going B2B with Optimo (Espacio), DJ Koze, Paula Tape and Nicolas Lutz will take to the stage across the weekend – destined to be creating memories within the Kobetamendi Forest that can’t be found anywhere else on the planet.

On the flip side, the Lasai stage takes the beat and provides a tranquil setting prime for introspection and relaxation in the best way possible. Each day is curated for a brand new experience. Thursday sees the Minor AM collective takeover the space with fresh talent such as Suze Ijó, James Massiah and Livwutang, whilst on Friday Meritxell de Soto will lead a more experimental night alongside Elena Barker, Genosidra, Somadamantina (live) and Torus. With Saturday closed by new talent such as Ylia, Toni Bass and Alexis Le-Tan amongst others – it’s a spot to dip in and fill the vibrations over the course of the weekend.

They add to a beating heart of club experiences that can be found across the picturesque Bilbao BBK Live site, ensuring that even away from the main stages – the beat goes on. This includes the return of GORRIA, with two nights headlined by some of the most exciting names on the current scene. Vampirina Club by Metrika & D. Basto will lead a session on Friday whilst Saturday will feature Hotcore Party: Taichu and Friends, a party led by the Argentine artist who will close out one of the festival’s stages with an exclusive set in line with her sonic and performative vision.

Bilbao BBK Live will celebrate its 20th anniversary between July 9th-11th 2026, in Kobetamendi, the natural setting that for two decades has transformed the mountains into a meeting point where music, city, and landscape converge. More than 80 artists will take part in a special edition that will once again bring together some of the most prominent figures on the international scene alongside new voices poised to shape the present of music. With Bilbao stretching out at its feet, the festival will once again transform the summit of Kobetamendi for three days into a place where the musical experience is lived in a different way.

THURSDAY, JULY 9th: CALVIN HARRIS, DAVID BYRNE, FKA TWIGS, DANI FERNÁNDEZ, PARIS PALOMA, BELÉN AGUILERA, APPARAT, FATOUMATA DIAWARA, DON WEST, HEMLOCKE SPRINGS.
On Thursday, July 9th, Calvin Harris will headline the first day at Kobetamendi with an exclusive show on the Iberian Peninsula packed with special effects and all the hits that have made his discography one of the most celebrated in electronic music. Joining him, one of the most anticipated performances of the day will be that of FKA twigs, an unclassifiable artist who has redefined the boundaries of contemporary pop through a deeply personal sonic and visual universe, where music, choreography, and aesthetics come together in a live performance as hypnotic as it is precise. Rounding out this lineup of big names is David Byrne, a legend of experimental pop who has demonstrated throughout his career that his live shows are true exercises in stage precision. Intimacy will be provided by Dani Fernández and Belén Aguilera, two songwriters who share a personal touch in their lyrics and who recently joined forces in their memorable performance at the Goya Awards. Also on the bill are the rising folk-pop star Paris Paloma and the art-pop act hemlocke springs, who will arrive in Bilbao for their first European date with ‘The Apple Tree Under the Sea’, considered by critics to be one of the albums of the year. The lineup for this first day is rounded out by the distinctive projects of Malian artist Fatoumata Diawara, who blends roots and modernity; Apparat, with his avant-garde electronic music; Don West and his elegant R&B; and the raw lyricism of Folk Bitch Trio and Las Petunias. Additionally, the festival once again shines a spotlight on emerging talent with Sara Zozaya, Hoonine, and GAR.

Alabama Shakes, with their incendiary soul rock and Brittany Howard’s unmistakable voice, will be another act not to be missed, alongside CMAT whose breakthrough 12 months has seen her emerge as a true favourite whose live shows are a joyful celebration of fun and love; as will the melancholic and luminous imagery of Belle and Sebastian, and the epic pop of La M.O.D.A.—two very different acts that find in their live performances a space for collective celebration. Electronic music will be represented by Richie Hawtin, who will present DEX EFX X0X, an immersive show that explores new territories between improvisation and technology; by Soulwax, one of the most influential projects in European electronic music; and by TOMORA, the supergroup formed by Tom Rowlands (The Chemical Brothers) and AURORA. The guitar scene will feature prominently with indie pop icon Xoel López, key figures of the national alternative scene Depresión Sonora and La Paloma, the contemporary flamenco of Yerai Cortés, and Westside Cowboy, one of the most promising groups of 2026. As in every edition, musical diversity will continue to set the tone for the festival, with acts such as the elegant soul of Thee Sacred Souls, Juicy BAE’s R&B and trap, and Mietze Conte’s fun dance-pop. The day will also feature the always well-received Basque acts Marte Lasarte and Suave.

SATURDAY, JULY 11th: DELLAFUENTE, IDLES, LILY ALLEN, INTERPOL, CHARLOTTE DE WITTE, ZAZ, HORSEGIIRL, RALPHIE CHOO

Also performing will be artists who are revitalizing the national scene from various angles, such as Ralphie Choo, BB Trickz, AMORE, Queralt Lahoz, and CERVATANA, alongside voices from the new Italian scene like Nu Genea (live band) and Mind Enterprises. Finally, the Basque representation will come from the new sensations Aimarz and BARRRK.

It comes together for a festival that’s primed to become a true destination for music fans from across Europe and beyond. Doing what it’s done since the very beginning, Bilbao BBK Live fizzes with the energy, passion and atmosphere that comes from the city of Bilbao – the festival’s picturesque location nestled up Mount Kobetamendi overlooking a skyline like no others. Only 10 minutes walking from the city itself, each note and vibration hits like a calling siren to the world. Celebrating the trailblazers and thrill-seekers that come to define the cultural conversation, Bilbao BBK Live is doing what few other festivals can. Uniting differences with a new story to tell at every turn.
