[UNVRS] will host the world premiere of Bhūtarāh, elrow’s new theme created in collaboration with South African multidisciplinary artistDan Popper, an immersive world conceived as a living presence between the physical and the mythical, debuting on 6 June at elrow’s Opening Party. Hallucinarium, Neo Kaos Garden, Delusionville, Nowmads: New World and a secret Closing Party surprise complete the rotating themes that make up elrow’s creative universe this summer.
This launch marks one of the key moments of the season, with an opening lineup featuring Italian techno don, Marco Faraone, expert vibe-crafter Luciano, the 90s influenced house of Manda Moor and elrow stalwart Bastian Bux, who will provide the soundtrack to the first manifestation of this new experience.
The name Bhūtarāh, derived from Sanskrit, defines the essence of the concept. Bhūta represents the fundamental elements of nature, while rāh evokes radiating energy. Together, they form an ancestral entity, a guardian intelligence that exists between the visible and the invisible. More than a theme, Bhūtarāh is a living organism where matter transforms into experience and nature becomes conscious.
At the heart of this universe stands the Mother of the Forest, a monumental figure embodying the soul of the world, merging body, roots and branches into a single entity. Surrounding her, the Artemis Cats represent nourishment and abundance, while forest spirits inspired by Kodama inhabit the space as manifestations of balance and vital energy. The scenographic journey unfolds as an inner experience, where two colossal hands define the entrance to this realm, one offering protection and the other invitation, guiding visitors through a sensory landscape that mirrors emotional and collective transformation.
Internationally renowned for his monumental sculptures, Dan Popper has developed a distinctive artistic language where the human figure, organic elements and a spiritual dimension transform spaces into living architectures. His work has been showcased at some of the world’s most influential festivals, including Afrikaburn, Boom Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival and Electric Forest, where his creations function as portals, stages and large scale immersive environments. In Bhūtarāh, this vision merges with elrow’s creative universe, creating a theme where art is not only observed, but experienced and activated by the audience.
As Juan Arnau Jr, Founder & Chief Global Brand of elrow explains, “Bhūtarāh will very likely be the most special theme we have ever created in the history of the brand.” He adds, “It is a powerful fusion between organic forms and elrow’s signature chaos and creativity.” Cruz Arnau, Founder & Brand Stewart of elrow states, “With Bhūtarāh we are preparing something entirely new, more immersive than ever.”
Dan Popper adds, “The name Bhūtarāh is an invented word created by combining two words from the Sanskrit language. Bhūta refers to all the elements found in nature: earth, water, fire and air; and Ra represents the fire that radiates. I’m super excited about what’s coming, I can’t wait to see it!”
Bhūtarāh will debut at [UNVRS], the world’s first hyperclub, a space designed to redefine the limits of production and nightlife experiences on a global scale. Developed by The Night League, [UNVRS] combines iconic architecture, advanced technology and next generation production systems to create fully immersive environments where sound, light, visuals and scenography operate as one unified language. In this context, Bhūtarāh finds the perfect stage to unfold its full dimension, turning the dancefloor into a living ecosystem where nature, energy and human interaction converge.
This new theme joins elrow’s creative universe for the season, six rotating themes will run throughout the summer until the Closing on 3 October. Across these months, audiences will also experience Hallucinarium, a psychedelic journey through the mind and perception; Neo Kaos Garden, a futuristic reinterpretation where organic and digital worlds collide; the upside down subterranean world of Delusionville; and Nowmads: New World, a narrative of exploration where future communities build new realities through creativity and survival and finally a surprise theme for the Closing Party.
With Bhūtarāh, elrow takes another step forward in its creative evolution, merging contemporary art, symbolic storytelling and technology to transform the club experience into a collective ritual. An experience that is not only lived, but traversed, marking the beginning of a new era where the dancefloor becomes a space for exploration, connection and transformation. As Juan and Cruz Arnau conclude, “In Bhūtarāh this vision merges with elrow’s creative universe, creating a theme where art is not only observed, but experienced and activated by the audience.
Throughout the season, music fans can enter the WORTEX to travel to a new world of creativity. This new season of elrow confirms [UNVRS] as one of the essential destinations in the Ibiza summer, and cementing elrow as one of the most distinctive and recognisable events on the international stage, while consolidating a creative alliance that continues to evolve, always in motion.
