Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance (ASOT) returns to Rotterdam Ahoy on February 26 and 27, 2027, with two nights of immersive trance, a five-hour Armin van Buuren set and five stages featuring leading names from across the scene.

Returning to the city where the brand celebrated its 25th anniversary earlier this year. Following a landmark anniversary edition that welcomed more than 45,000 fans from around the world, A State of Trance returns with another weekend designed to take fans deeper into the world of trance.

The weekend kicks off on Friday, February 26, with Armin van Buuren returning for another five-hour set. Across the extended performance, the Dutch trance icon will take fans on a journey through the full spectrum of the genre, from timeless classics to new sounds and unreleased material. The Friday program will unfold across three stages. 

On Saturday, February 27, A State of Trance will transform Rotterdam Ahoy into a five-area trance destination, bringing together some of the most exciting and established artists from across the global trance scene. With multiple stages and a full day of music, Saturday will offer fans the chance to experience different sides of the genre under one roof.

Adding something new to this year’s Saturday program, Armin van Buuren will open the day with an exclusive vinyl set. The intimate set will offer fans a different side of the A State of Trance founder and will be included exclusively for guests staying in the official hotel packages. Fans can also gain access to the set by purchasing an Early Access ticket, giving them the chance to experience this special opening set before the main program kicks off.

For those looking to make a full weekend of the experience, the official A State of Trance Hotel returns this year with exclusive two- and three night packages. Hotel packages go on sale on September 1 and 2, 2026, with two-night packages available for Firday and Saturday, and three-night packages covering the full weekend.
