Last March, Ultra Music Festival concluded its sold out 26th edition at Downtown Miami’s Bayfront Park, a historic weekend from Friday, March 27 – Sunday March 29. The three-day festival once again defined the global standard for electronic music culture, featuring a bevy of era-defining, you-had-to-be-there moments: Skrillex’s surprise appearance during BZRP’s headlining set; the landmark Swedish House Mafia Main Stage takeover, whose curated “festival within a festival” tapped Eric Prydz for a rare back-to-back alongside additional featured performers; John Summit bringing out Feid to close out the Main Stage; and so much more.

Ahead of the festival’s forthcoming 2027 edition, which will return to Bayfront Park from Friday, March 26 – Sunday, March 28, 2027, fans can relive the magic of Ultra Music Festival 2026 with the release of its official aftermovie:SYNCHRONICITY

Made by aftermovie veterans Final Kid Films, SYNCHRONICITY is a cinematic journey through the human experience of Ultra. Told through an emotional prologue and five chapters defined by an evolving list of emotions—Anticipation, Connection, Release, Surrender and Unity—the film places the fans at the center, moving from intimate individual moments to the collective euphoria of tens of thousands becoming one through music. Created collaboratively by Final Kid‘s filmmakers and built entirely from real cinematography with no AI-generated imagery, the film combines performance, human storytelling, music, lyrics and emotion into one continuous experience.

For SYNCHRONICITY, Final Kid Films founder Charly Friedrichs returns as the aftermovie’s Director, Creative Director, and Main Editor. However, for the first time in Ultra aftermovie history, Friedrichs taps other members of the Final Kid Films team to serve as Co-Directors, with each helming their own chapter of the finished film. The result is a film whose very creation reflects its overarching ethos: individual perspectives coming together to form a unified whole.

While festival attendees represent the beating heart of SYNCHRONICITY, with particular emphasis placed on heartfelt testimonials from Ultra’s global audience and lingering portraits of human connection, the aftermovie is equally rich with the signature spectacle of Ultra Music Festival. Kinetic sequences showcase the festival’s superstar performers against a propulsive electronic soundtrack, capturing the scale and energy that have become synonymous with Ultra.

John Summit, Martin Garrix, Alesso, Swedish House Mafia, and Excision are just a sampling of the artists featured in SYNCHRONICITY; they are also amongst the 200+ acts who performed at Ultra Music Festival 2026, and whose music provided the sonic foundation for the moments of connection, euphoria, and collective celebration expressed throughout the film.

In tandem with releasing the 2026 aftermovie, Ultra also opened the waitlist for the festival’s forthcoming 27th edition, which will return to Bayfront Park from Friday, March 26 – Sunday, March 28, 2027.
