Terminal V has revealed Clydeside Live, a new dedicated open-air event space, as the home of its landmark 10th anniversary festival. Taking place from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 June 2027, it will be Terminal V’s first ever three-day festival edition and its first fully outdoor Scottish festival.
Terminal V is produced by EE Live, the independent Scottish events company behind the festival’s growth into an internationally recognised electronic music brand.
Situated in Glasgow’s historic docklands on the north bank of the River Clyde, Clydeside Live is a major new open-air event site currently being developed with Terminal V set to become the first music festival to be held there.
The exact location has remained under wraps since Terminal V announced its move from Edinburgh to Glasgow earlier this year. Now revealed as Clydeside Live, the site is being developed into Glasgow’s largest dedicated open-air event space, creating a new destination for live music and events in the city. Set on the banks of the River Clyde, the city’s industrial past still visible across the surrounding landscape, the waterfront site will provide a dramatic backdrop for Terminal V’s world-class electronic line-up. Beyond music events, Clydeside Live will host a varied-programme of seasonal attractions and entertainment for a broad range of audiences.
Surrounded by Glasgow’s distinctive industrial landscape, the site feels like a natural new home for Terminal V, whose industrial aesthetic has been embedded in the festival’s identity since its launch. The move outdoors will give the team the opportunity to reimagine the festival on an entirely new scale, bringing together ambitious production, cutting-edge electronic music and thousands of fans beneath open skies and beside the waters of the Clyde.
For its 10th anniversary, Terminal V will create its largest and most ambitious festival set up to date from the ground up, including an entirely new main stage concept for Area V at the water’s edge. Renowned stages The Hangar and The Greenhouse will also be reimagined for the outdoor setting, with the first glimpses of the festival design revealed today in newly released renders.
The Glasgow edition will arrive exactly a decade after Terminal V launched in 2017. What began as a 2,000-capacity, one-day event at Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre has grown into one of the world’s leading electronic music festivals, ranked Number 1 in Scotland, Number 5 in the UK and Number 22 globally in the DJ Mag Awards, as well as winning Best UK Festival at the publication’s Best of British Awards in 2023. Over the past decade, Terminal V has welcomed more than a quarter of a million fans, with more than 30% of ticket sales now coming from outside Scotland and previous editions contributing more than £5 million to the local economy.
Alongside its flagship Scottish festival, Terminal V’s Croatian edition is now firmly established, following its 15,000-capacity London debut at Drumsheds in 2025 and the launch of its first Australian edition in 2026, with further international activity forming part of its tenth anniversary celebrations.

We’ve seen venues like Silverworks Island demonstrate just how exciting these large-scale outdoor inner city spaces can be for electronic music, and we believe Clydeside Live has the potential to become one of the most exciting new outdoor event destinations in the UK. For our 10th anniversary, we have the opportunity to build the festival from the ground up, rethink our stages and production for the setting and create an experience that feels distinctly Glasgow while still being unmistakably Terminal V. The first line-up announcement is coming soon, with more than 100 artists set to be revealed, including international headliners who have helped shape Terminal V’s past and present, alongside names defining its future.
