Awesome Soundwave and Ethereal Ibiza bring Stimming, Sebastian Mullaert and Christopher Coe together at Akasha Ibiza this October for a unique all-night live performance. Taking place on Friday, October 16, the show will see all three artists perform together throughout the night, improvising in real time through modular synths and hardware. It marks the first time Stimming, Sebastian Mullaert and Christopher Coe have performed together in this format.
Each brings a distinctive approach to the collaboration. Stimming is recognised for his meticulous approach to sound and hardware, while Sebastian Mullaert has spent decades exploring improvisation and live electronic music. Christopher Coe completes the trio with his own hardware-led approach to performance.
The event is presented by Awesome Soundwave, a label founded by Carl Cox & Christopher Coe specifically to champion live electronic artists and provide a platform for performance beyond the traditional DJ format. Its growing Awesome Soundwave Live series has already reached Dublin and Belfast in 2026 and now heads to Ibiza for two events this October, marking Awesome Soundwave’s return to the island following its DC10 shows in 2023.
The Ibiza programme begins on Thursday, October 8, when Awesome Soundwave joins Island Noize for Awesome Soundwave: On The Sea, its first-ever boat event. Christopher Coe, Sturge, Mäthzz and Antoxo will perform live on the Mediterranean.
With two distinct shows across the island, Awesome Soundwave Live’s Ibiza arrival puts the possibilities of live electronic music firmly in focus, from an open-air performance at sea to an entirely improvised night at Akasha.
Awesome Soundwave: On The Sea takes place October 8, followed by Awesome Soundwave Live x Ethereal at Akasha Ibiza on October 16. Tickets for both events are on sale now.
