Open’er Festival returns to Gdynia’s Baltic coast from 30 June – 3 July 2027, with another major wave of names joining the line-up. Legendary electronic duo The Chemical Brothers will headline the Main Stage on Thursday, returning to Open’er exactly 25 years after headlining the festival’s inaugural edition. They are joined by British pop powerhouse Ellie Goulding, global pop newcomer Adéla, Australian rock and pop favourites 5 Seconds of Summer, and genre-defying electronic artist Underscores.
The new additions join previously announced acts including Tame Impala, Sombr, The Neighbourhood, RAYE and Patti Smith Quartet, continuing Open’er’s tradition of bringing together some of the biggest and most influential names across generations and genres.
THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS
Since the mid-90s, The Chemical Brothers, Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons, have shaped electronic music around their own distinctive vision. Emerging from the UK’s underground club scene, the duo transformed their DJ sets and genre-blurring productions into a spectacular live experience, combining euphoric electronic music with immersive visuals and groundbreaking production.
Their catalogue is filled with generation-spanning anthems including “Galvanize”, “Block Rockin’ Beats”, “Got to Keep On”, “Wide Open” and “Hey Boy Hey Girl”. Across their career, The Chemical Brothers have earned multiple GRAMMY and BRIT Awards, achieved six UK No. 1 albums and sold more than 21 million physical records worldwide, alongside billions of streams.
In 2027, exactly 25 years after headlining the very first edition of Open’er, the legendary duo return to Orange Main Stage on July 1, bringing their acclaimed live show back to the festival where it all began.
Taking place in Gdynia from June 30 – 3 July 2027, Open’er Festival is a must-attend experience that brings world-class talent and an unforgettable atmosphere to Poland’s Baltic coast. The festival attracts more than 100,000 music fans from around the world each year.
From its beginnings in Warsaw in 2002, Open’er has grown into one of Europe’s biggest and most internationally recognised music festivals. Since 2006, it has taken place on the grounds of a former military airport in Gdynia, creating a unique setting for a line-up that brings together global superstars, emerging artists and some of the most influential names in contemporary music.
