French DJ and producer Elvis Guetta presents his debut track, ‘The Boss’, with the late James Brown on Defected. An artist whose first public set was at the world’s #1 club in 2025, UNVRS, Elvis Guetta is making it clear he plans to leave a long-lasting mark on the electronic scene.
His DJ sets bring together the underground sounds that shaped him, with DC10 playing a defining role in his musical education – further inspiration was also found digging through legacy records and genres.
Raised in the UK on hip-hop, street culture and electronic, his style now spans house, minimal tech and tech house, now reaching Stade de France, Ushuaïa Ibiza and Touquet Music Beach Festival as part of his summer 2026 tour – each date signposting his meteoric rise to the top.
This mindset has carried through to his discography as he samples one of the greatest icons of rock and roll, James Brown, for his debut track; ‘The Boss’ is a sharp, house edit of the James Brown classic, proving that this rising artist’s experience on the world’s biggest stages has translated into studio prowess.
