Taking the Blue Marlin brand into it’s fifth year catching fire under the year round Dubai sun, the club schedule for January has now been announced. Specialising in the spirit of Ibiza and rooted in it’s influences, Blue Marlin will be very warmly welcoming White Isle favourites to their first, famed Fridays of the new year.
Setting the stage for the esteemed sessions to follow, Cadenza and Cocoon take the helm in hosting the opening events, before Route 94 and Magdalena close month one by blowing it up. Bringing their own unique blends to the booth, Michel Cleis and gAs are Ibiza embodied; years of DJing behind them, they remain years ahead amongst their peers in the scene. These two mix-ologists will be brewing up a storm of house and techno, under perfect conditions under Dubai skies. Neither is Ibiza insight lacking in Ilario Alicante or Daniel Stefanik, who play under Sven Väth’s classic Cocoon banner, crafting a familiarly Ibizan fix.
Keeping up the momentum is the rightly regal Route 94 backed up by none finer than Finnebassen. A name to be reckoned with, Route 94 has converted chart success into headline sets, arriving on serious credits and not ready to depart, with acclaim from crowds worldwide. No less in demand since dominating his home scene in Norway, Finnebassen is an international supplier of silky smooth house who makes certain the credentials of this club night. No stranger to the Blue Marlin style is Magdalena, another trendsetter and jetsetter of DIYnamic, who in signing off January ensures the resort is soaring into 2016.
