“Mermaid is one of those ideas that crept up in the back of my mind almost like an itch I needed to scratch.” shares Massuma.“What started as that little “sweep” you hear in the melody then evolved into this full idea over the course of an afternoon in the studio. I wasn’t sure if it was just my chaotic ideas vomited into the DAW so I exported and sent it off to Rampa who then shared it with &ME and all of a sudden I was sitting on this ID people were asking me about. It’s even been leaked two or three times now.”
