Six parties. Four days. No way out. Refuge NYC announces ‘PURGATORY’, an extended Halloween marathon running from October 29th to November 1st, bringing together Salute, Stacey Pullen, Jayda G, Soul Clap + DJ E-Cology, Victor Calderone, Nicole Moudaber, Mira, and more across six distinct parties.

Fresh off its celebrated first anniversary milestone (in the middle of the Nor’easter storm), Brooklyn’s purist dance sanctuary will take over its East Williamsburg home for four days of programming spanning house, techno, UK garage and beyond. Day, night and sunrise sessions will run across the main room and courtyard, creating an immersive Halloween programme built around Refuge’s dancefloor-first ethos.

The 500-capacity venue will retain its founding approach throughout PURGATORY, with no VIP sections or bottle service and a focus on sound, long-form DJ sets and an undivided dancefloor. The marathon will be powered by Refuge’s custom four-point REX analogue sound system, co-engineered with Al Fierstein.

The PURGATORY marathon opens on Thursday night, October 29, uniting UK garage and house trailblazer salute with Detroit techno icon Stacey Pullen for a high-energy B2B session, setting the tone for the weekend ahead. The programming continues on Friday night, October 30, with soulful, euphoric house and disco selections from the iconic Jayda G alongside Suze Ijó, plus a unique billing featuring Soul Clap alongside DJ E-Cology—marking a special moment on the dancefloor following Eli Goldstein and Charles Levine‘s recent announcement ending their 25-year run as a duo, with Levine carrying forward the Soul Clap legacy and Goldstein stepping out under his solo moniker. This is the last time they will be performing together.

Halloween itself sees a double-header Saturday daytime session from venue resident Victor Calderone alongside Audiofly’s Anthony Middleton, before techno luminary Nicole Moudaber takes over after dark for the night programme. Into the sunrise stretch, Berlin sound-scaper Mira guides the early hours of Sunday sunrise, before Serge Devant and Vanjee deliver deep grooves for the daytime closing leg to conclude the four-day gathering.
