BOLUDO, which is a classic Argentinian slang word used as ‘mate’ or ‘bro’ brings the spirit of Buenos Aires to Amsterdam for a day time event at De Fik Garden during Amsterdam Dance Event.

Curated by Dutch DJ Carmen Lisa, who fell in love with the techno scene in Argentina after performing in the country several times, BOLUDO connects Dutch and Argentinian artists through raw, hypnotic techno, traditional Argentinian food and a shared love for the dance floor.

Carmen Lisa developed a close connection with argentinian culture, food, people and distinctive dance-floor atmosphere. BOLUDO grew from her desire to bring that experience to Amsterdam and create a meeting point between the two cities.

The line-up features Argentinian artists Raptis and Miramontes. In addition to his work as a DJ, Miramontes is an experienced promoter who has organised club nights and festivals in Argentina at venues including Crobar in Buenos Aires.

Carmen Lisa will also perform. She is known from appearances at festivals including 909 and Awakenings and clubs such as Tresor and RADION. Dutch artist Linds completes the line-up, bringing her own sound as an emerging name within the techno scene.

Next to dancing and music, food is another driving force in argentinian culture. Food collective Asadazo will prepare a traditional asado outdoors.The first 100 guests arriving between 15:00 and 16:00 will have the first opportunity to enjoy the feast freshly served from the spit.

The event is designed as a late-afternoon and early-evening gathering centred around music, food and community: a place to meet, eat and dance before the ADE night unfolds across Amsterdam.
