After being named iTunes Dance Album of 2009, Future Disco returns with their third episode, ‘City Heat’ and announce a string of tour dates around the world including a residency at Space, Ibiza.

As the island of Ibiza enters a new era full of fresh activity, Future Disco come on board to ignite a renaissance to its musical roots, launching a new residency at one of the world’s most beautiful and popular clubs, Space, taking place on seven consecutive Tuesdays within the intimate Red Room for one of their busiest nights hosted by Carl Cox.

Future Disco are also taking their sound as far afield as Singapore, Dubai and Croatia’s Garden Festival, featuring artists such as Juan Maclean, Faze Action and Future Disco resident’s Sean Brosnan and Dom Chung. July 10th sees them take over Ministry of Sound bar area in London as part of their residency at the venue & Future Disco will also stage a special Ibiza event on the opening weekend at the beautiful Blue Marlin on Cala Jondal.

Harking back to Ibiza’s Balearic roots, Future Disco provides a completely unique excursion joining the musical dots between disco of the past, present and future at this string of global events. The compilation series has become the staple choice for all music fans seeking a fresh and contemporary selection of rare and favoured tracks, indelibly mapping a new trend like no other. This summer will see the release of ‘Volume 3 City Heat’, taking in hot creations from some of the freshest artists of the moment including Lindstrom & Christabelle, Greg Wilson, The Revenge, Holy Ghost and Todd Terje. The entire mix is once again re-edited and carefully mixed by Sean Brosnan, taking the sound of Future Disco to distant shores and some of the best clubs in the world.
